MUMBAI: Juhu police arrested a Nigerian national on Friday with drugs weighing 31 grams were found in his possession when he arrived to sell it. Police suspect that the accused has been staying illegally in Mumbai after his visa expired.
Acting on a tip-off, police laid a trap and arrested Chukwu Nou Joshua and seized MDMA(Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) worth Rs 60,000. Joshua stays in Nalasopara and supplies drugs in the city.
Deputy commissioner of police (Zone IX) Paramjit Singh Dahiya said Joshua has been arrested when he arrived in Juhu. He has been booked under the relevant section of the NDPS Act.
