The streamed Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yashwant Sinha has been arrested by Maharashtra BJP Government. Former finance minister Yashwant Sinha’s arrested while he was leading farmers’ protest against the BJP government “apathy” in the Vidarbha region which was recorded for highest farmers’ suicides.

Congress former CM of Maharashtra Ashok Chavan said, Sinha’s arrest highlight the arrogance of state government, not Sinha’s and it clarifies that CM Fadnavis (BJP) does not have time to pay required attention of poor farmers issues.

NCP’s leader Jayant Patil also criticised the state government of Maharashtra for its apathy towards farmers and participating in the protest march which is organized between Yavatmal and Nagpur.

State and center government are not worried about the situation of farmers on the ground level, There schemas are for mere announcements and for this issue party will take the government during the winter house he also added.

BJP Further, the state party unit strongly defended a slew of decisions taken by the Modi government at the Centre and by the Fadnavis government in Maharashtra to boost growth in the agriculture sector and improve the welfare of farmers.

Now day’s Sinha founded quite vocal against the Modi government in different issues wither it could be demonetization or Goods & Services Tax.

Sinha’s has been detained by the Maharashtra Government under the provisions of section 68 of the Bombay Police Act when he was protesting against what they alleged was government apathy towards cotton and soybean cultivators outside the Akola district collector’s office along with hundreds of farmers.

Ganesh Hake, State BJP spokesman told to DNA, Sinha’s is desperate to seek the media attention and also wants to get sympathy from farmers. Sinha’s is aware of the various programs launched by the Central and state governments which are in favor of farmers and our government is walking in a transparent manner.

However, Sinha’s, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party have led a scathing attack against the state government holding it responsible for the farmers’ plight. The state government has announced his two-week winter session of the state legislature on December 11 at Nagpur.
