NFAI director Prakash Magdum said, “We are happy to host, for the very first time, the Thai Film Festival at NFAI. This is in pursuance of the objectives of NFAI to showcase a variety of films from different parts of the world.” The Royal Thai Consulate-General EkapolPoolpipat expressed his pleasure that the first event of this kind is happening. He said, “This is the first step forward in an effort to exchange films with high historical and cultural values as well as in the exchange of knowledge and relating matters. The films being screened at the festival have all won awards at various international festivals. I hope truly hope that Thai movies will earn their space in the Indian hearts.” |
