After the self-styled godman Ram Rahim’s case All India Akhara Parishad (AIAP), an apex body of Hindu seers and ascetics in the country, will make a list of such hypocritical babas and hand it over to the state governments for taking action against them.
This step has been taken after the terrible violence in Haryana following the conviction of self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case. A prominent Hindu seers’ body has decided to ‘identify the corrupt and fake’ babas in the country so that action can be taken.
India is a country where individuals value emotion. Exploiting devotees and taking advantage to live lavish life is the new business of these hypocrites.
AIAP president Mahant Narendra Giri said on Sunday , “We will make sure that such babas are not able to take part in the Kumbh Mela”
The step taken by AIAP is not enough. Dr. Massey, the president of Christian Media Association and Editor-In Chief said, “Every Religion has their own dress code for seers and ascetics and these are only meant to be worn by such pious saints and not businessmen, or politicians. I believe people like Baba Ramdev, Shri Ravi Shanker, CM Adityanath Yogi, Uma
Bharti, Sakshi Maharaj and many more should no longer be wearing the cloak and be called as monks. They have come out of that phase and now facing the world. Beside the dress code, these businessmen and politician earn the goodwill and kill the emotion of their devotees. Their dress is a symbol of purity which is losing and hurting the sentiments of public at large”
Life of a seers and ascetics is completely sacred and worship-able due to his/her purity. Their life is to preach the goodness of God to get peace and to share the love of God. They believe they are born to serve people. A man who is in politics and business cannot be a saint as his living is entirely different.
