MUMBAI: A 20-year-old engineering student ended her life by consuming high dose tablets at her Andheri (West) residence on Monday. DN Nagar police said the incident came to light at around 1 pm when the deceased PramukhdaDaverdid not open the bedroom door on the second floor flat after her roommate repeatedly knocked the door. Dave was working as an intern in a private company.
Then the roommate called the person staying on the 10th floor who entered the bedroom from the balcony and called the police. Dave was found unconscious and she was declared dead on admission at the hospital. In the suicide note written in a diary, Dave has held no one responsible for her actions. “She has consumed 62 tablets that led to her death. The autopsy report will confirm the type of tablets she consumed, “said the police.
A case of accidental death report (ADR) has been registered.
