Mumbai: Three minor boys have been detained and one adult has been arrested on Thursday in a sodomy case registered at DN Nagar police station, confirmed the zonal deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Paramjit Singh Dahiya.
Both the minor accused were produced before Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) and have been sent to Dongri correctional home. However, the adult is in police custody. “The medical of the victim was conducted at Cooper hospital and the report is consistent with the investigation till now,” said DCP Dahiya.
They have been booked under section 377 (unnatural offence) and 34 (act done by several persons in furtherance of common intentions) as well as relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. A 16-year-old boy registered a complaint with the DN Nagar police station and alleged that 15 boys, mostly minors, have been sexually abusing him.
