Maharashtra Mumbai waiting to have 2019 election and at this moment BJP and Shiv Sena are the main competitors for the upcoming election.

Shiv Sena getting to bite into a large chunk of ‘plum posts’ in the state-run corporations and agencies, BJP hinted that it may hit the 2019 polls with the BJP if it gets a fair deal. The change took place after the BJP president Amit Shah’s meeting with Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree in June, there has been a sudden thaw in Sena-BJP relations that had hit for the deal.

On 31st August before Dahi Handi the state government CM Devendra Fadnavis has finally announced 21 political appointments to 16 state-owned corporations, two state authorities and a state minority commission. It should be noted that the BJP has been trying to sending feelers to the Shiv Sena by appointing its party members to key posts, such as the chairman of minority commission, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) chairman and chairman of the Mumbai Board of MHADA.

Devendra Fadnavis appointments Sena legislator Uday Samant will be head of MHADA, BJP legislator Prashant Thakur will be CIDCO chief. MHADA also has a Mumbai unit, which will be headed by BJP spokesperson Madhu Chavan. Former Sena legislator Vinod Ghosalkar will be the chief of Mumbai Building and Repairs Board. BJP’s Tariq Qureshi was appointed MHADA (Nagpur) chief and Sena leader and former bureaucrat Vijay Nahata the head of the Mumbai Slum Development Board.

Out of 21 positions 10 each filled with BJP-Sena and one post for Republican Party of India (Athawale)’s Mr. Sudhakar Sarvade as a chairman of the Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation.

The disaster change has been finalized by Uddhav and Fadnavis after the visit of Amit Shah at Matoshree. The acceptance of the posts before elections indicates the bond of a good deal between parties on a boat to cross the election together.

Raut said: Sena played a good balancing act by opposing the policies of the government but 2019 elections approaching, the leadership will have to take a call and its clear thát BJP is reaching out to Sena.
