Arjun Ghatule fails to declare Law re-evaluation results

Many students are yet to receive their re-evaluation results of Law exams and University of Mumbai’s (MU), have three days to declare the result of re-evaluation.

A group of Law student met Controller of Examinations Dr. Arjun Ghatule on Friday and he assured that all re-evaluation results would be declared by Saturday.

We have been assured that the results would be declared before the semester exams, but students were not aware that Controller of Examinations of Mumbai University Dr. Arjun Ghatule promised which is to be broken. Mumbai University failed to declare the re-evaluation results of Law students.

After the protest of law student Dr. Arjun Ghatule postponed the ATKT exams and reschedule on November 21 and 23 which was on 15th November earlier.

According to the rule, re-evaluation results has to be declared before the ATKT exam and students have right to walkout the exams without knowing the re-evaluation results. Besides all of this where is the time to prepare for exams?

The students have now threatened to escalate their agitation to scrap the online assessment process. Second-year Law student Siddharth Ingle gave three papers for re-evaluation, but is awaiting results of two. The university has failed to produce a photocopy of his first year exam answer sheet as well. “I have got 30 marks in three subjects. How is it possible? ” he asked.
