The Government of Maharashtra state has passed a resolution that Mumbai Police is allowed to take the donation from Limited and private companies. While approving the related proposal, the State Government mentioned that there should be no differences while raising the donation.
The Maharashtra government there will be funding under this proposal, which will be utilized in the welfare of police officers. This fund will be considered under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), private companies can donate in this regard. During the approval of this proposal, the State Government mentioned that there should be no differences while raising the donation. It also clarified that donations will be accepted only from a person or organization having only ‘high reliability’.
