The doctor who has been called second God has become a part of shame in the society. One again a rape case came in limelight inNew Delhi when a doctor has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman patient inside his clinic in New Delhi.
Accused Dr. Amit Rai is a resident of Sonia Vihar New Delhi on rented accommodation and also operating his clinic near to his resident. Dr. Amit Rai was arrested on Saturday late night soon after the confirmation of victim’s medical reports for sexual assault.
Victim 32-year-old woman, approach to the doctor as she was suffering from fever. Dr. Rai misguided her that she is suffering from typhoid and had to give an injection,” a senior police officer said.
Dr. ask her to lay down inside the clinic room and gave her drugs doze to make her unconscious. After a few minutes when she fall unconscious then Dr. Rai raped her and dropped her near the clinic, threatening her with dire consequences if she disclosed his crime to anyone, Police said.
However, victim disclosed the incident happen with her to police and Dr. Rai was arrested from his residence for under section 376.
