To be fair, Apple’s never been about attracting new customers. Apple’s always had a tiny market share relative to their competitors, but secured high profits from those few users through massively inflated prices. That’s been their business model since the 90s.

Actually the only difference between the 8 and the X is that the X has a really good screen and a selfie camera that supports portrait mode features and face detection features.
The CPU and GPU are the same though.
