MUMBAI: Airport operations affected due to heavy rain and Spice Jet flight SG703.
Spice Jet flight last night overshot the runway and got stuck in the muddy area on the side. All 183 passengers were however safe. The Spice Jet flight take-off from Varanasi to land in Mumbai and when it was landing to Mumbai airport.

Air India is a member of the International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP), a convention for sharing resources to generate economic savings and support on time dispatch reliability and operational safety. As such, the national carrier is the sole custodian of disabled aircraft recovery kits in India and South Asia.
